Military

I have been a MARINE for the past 14 years (and still) and this July I’m picking up Gunny!!! I have a Love for the shooting world. Back in ‘96 I had my first taste of training with SOTG in Japan with 3rd MARDIV, and lived on range 16 for 4 months straight. And had the fun of working on live fire ranges all over the world from the back of the U.S.S. BELLAWOOD and ranges on the beautiful island of Guam to the Deserts of 29 Palms, Yuma and some fun stuff in Tonopah, NV (and if you know anything about Tonopah). I was sent to Marksmanship Training Unit (MTU) for 8th ESB in Camp Lejune NC. I was an Instructor for 2nd LAAD BN on Cherry Piont NC, and then later with MWSS-473 where I was the S-3 training chief and was responsible for the Rifle and pistol range qualification and along with IED training.

I have worked with several Tarrant County employees in getting them ready to pass the pistol qualification and now I’m an active CHL instructor for the state of Texas. I also run a female only shooting class with a 100% course competition rate.
